Schumann Resonance

The Earth`s magnetic field has a set of resonant frequencies that scientists theorize have an effect on the human being and its behavior. One possibly surprising area of research is in the way in which the Earth acts like a giant electrical circuit. In fact, the human body depends on these frequencies and land’s gravity for numerous physical functions.

In the 1930s, German physicist Winfried Otto Schumann discovered the base atmospheric electromagnetic resonant frequency to be 7.83 Hz, which coincides with the alpha waves of the human brain at rest, when cell regeneration and healing takes place. These oscillations are called the “Schumann resonances,” and it has also become common to associate the Schumann frequencies with different types of brain wave states. Some have even gone as far as to relate the frequency of 7.83 Hz to hypnosis, suggestibility, meditation, and an increase in human growth hormones.

Some refer to this “Schumann Resonance frequency of 7.83 Hz as Mother Earth’s natural heartbeat rhythm. This electromagnetic harmony between land and the human brain coincides also with the theoretical need for the human, as a land-based species, to maintain a balance with land`s electromagnetic frequency, especially amid the interference of so many other, much-higher electromagnetic frequencies such as those radiating from cell phones, TVs, and radios, etc., which range in frequency from 30,000 Hz to 300 billion Hz.
